"COME AS YOU ARE"
Looking for something different this Lent? Our parish is sponsoring six weekly “Come as You Are” meetings during the season of Lent. This is a group of 8-12 adults who come together every week for six weeks to share something of their stories with one another and to share God's story (i.e., the Sunday scriptures). Noticing one's story and the story of God, listening appreciatively to the story of another, people help each other to make connections between everyday life and faith. Pasta Supper~ To Benefit the St. Bernard School Technology Fund Please join us Saturday, January 28th from 5pm – 7pm for a delicious pasta supper put on by St. Bernard School. Cost: $5 per person with a $20 family max. Pasta Supper “To-Go” available all evening. There will be a special “dessert table” for those who would like to bring their favorite dessert to share.

Saint Bernard Parish now offers online giving as a convenient way to support our parish. By signing up to give your weekly offertory and special collections electronically, you will help the parish more accurately forecast our finances and plan more strategically. Online Giving is a safe, secure, and dependable means of income for the parish. Some have said that they would be happy to give online but will feel embarrassed not to have an envelope when the usher passes the basket. To alleviate this concern there are “I gave online” cards at both entrances that you may place in the offertory basket. Please consider helping us go green as we forge into the future.

Parishioners who purchase goods and services and pay bills online want to have the same option for their parish contributions. Online Giving provides secure access for parishioners to set up payment schedules that fit their needs. They can set up one-time gifts and pledges as well.
1st Friday Divine Mercy Devotions are held every month at 3pm and ending with evening prayer at 5pm in the Chapel. This beautiful devotion will consist of Exposition of the Most Blessed Sacrament, the Chaplet of the Divine Mercy and evening prayer. Please join us next month, on February 3, 2012.
